Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York for a little over
a decade. The Koch Theater is the resident home of the New York City Ballet.

performing arts presenting organizations on the west coast.
I’ve also been serving on the board of the ESTA Foundation as
Treasurer for the last 13 years. The Foundation was established in 2005 to
support charitable programs such as Behind the Scenes, a program that provides
financial support to entertainment technology industry professionals when they
are ill or injured.
I’m married to Alison Peet and I have one cat, Finley. Sorry to
miss the reunion—I read the list of lost friends with sadness. I hope the rest
of us are living full, rich, happy lives.

I am currently living in Alabama with my
husband and 16-year-old grandson. I have 4 grandchildren and 1
great-granddaughter. Most of my family still lives in mason City. I
am a home health RN, so I travel all over Birmingham taking care of
people.
Not much else to say - getting old, not doing anything
interesting. I mostly just work when I'm not sleeping. Does anyone
else go to bed at 8:30 p.m.? I have turned into my parents, who are
both still alive. Life is funny, don't you think?

Brenda Hopp Arjes

I worked for a dental office in Dubuque for almost a year before I married my husband, Doug Arjes who is from Allison, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa Dental School in 1978. We married May 2, 1981 and he and I practiced together at his dental office in Waterloo, Iowa.
In 1985 our first son Sam was born. In 1989 our second son Michael was born. In the summer of 1993 we moved to Kansas City to join the practice of good friends in Gladstone, MO. We have lived in Kansas City since.
We have two darling daughters-in-law, Fiona (Sam) and Reese (Michael). We have one grandson Huxley, 8 years old. He is the son of Michael and Reese and is the apple of our eye that is for sure! Doug and I now go by the proud names of “Grammie” and “Pup-Pup”!
As an interesting side note, my husband’s brother Craig has a son named Dan Arjes and he was assistant principal at MCHS for several years and now is the principal of Roosevelt Elementary School - very proud of our nephew! A few months ago, I was also blown away to find out after some 30 + years of marriage, that classmate Scott Bowman is a cousin to Dan Arjes! He is related by marriage to Dan’s mom Janet. Small world!
As far as high school memories, I enjoyed all of you, my friends and classmates, orchestra, my teachers. Occasionally, I think of how fun it would be to do like what Kathleen Turner did in the movie Peggy Sue Got Married and go back to high school for a few days - I for one would love that!
Look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. It is also a special weekend as we will be celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of my folks, Harold and Joyce Hopp.
Jill Houck
My wife Danielle and I live in Houston.

Russia where I lived for the better part of a year, Germany, Italy, Venezuela
and Canada where I also lived for a year.
I’m currently semi-retired working part time in
the oil and gas industry.
I enjoy nature, hiking, biking, photography and
continued travels.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Personal – I married Brenda (Losey – MCHS
class of 1981) in 1985. 33 years ago! We have three kiddies: Sam (27) and wife
Taylor, in Parker, CO., Rachel (24) in Daisy, MO., and Cole (21) senior at U of
Mizzou in Columbia, MO. No grandkids yet, but that will likely change before
our 50th class reunion. Brenda and I recently moved to
Breckenridge, CO (I work from home for Workday when not traveling) and hope all
of our kids eventually migrate back to Colorado where they are ‘natives’.
We love to spend time outdoors, hiking,
biking, skiing, and breathing fresh air. I am also still addicted to chlorine,
and swim 3-4 times a week. If classmates are in the area, please give me a call
or text and we’ll visit the nice brew pubs in Summit County.

At some point I realized I had my two girls
and two boys. They just happened to be canine instead of human. I guess I
should have been more specific in my request.
My ex husband died almost five years ago. No,
I didn't do it.
I have been able to get back to traveling,
meeting great people wherever I go.
My church voted to close two years ago so I
have spent some time regrouping and discerning what comes next.
In the meantime I am enjoying solo traveling
and my new found role as a cougar.
All in all I find this adventure we call life
gets better and better. Enjoy the journey.
Oh and RevItUp would be my derby name if I
knew how to skate.
